International competition requires the marketer to ensure that decisions made are based on sound information and facts.
The ability of researchers to collect meaningful data is affected by cultural differences, but reliable information is critical to the eventual market selection, product positioning and pricing decisions, and the eventual planning and implementation of specific export marketing activities such as advertising.
Market research is essential in this decision-making process, but the advent of internet-based research has in some ways streamlined this process. This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge to conduct the market research process.
All ECA workshops and courses can be undertaken as stand-alone units, or accredited as part of an Advanced Diploma in International Business with the Charles Sturt University Centre for Customs and Excise Studies. Different prices apply and you need to declare your intention to register
for the accredited course when booking an individual ECA workshop or course. For further information before booking, contact Angela Wright on 02 8243

“90% of our business is export based and we are expanding rapidly throughout Asia. As we move into new countries and regions it is important to understand the country, culture and business norms and ECA has helped us do this through their programs. ECA has also helped us improve our shipping and documentation efficiency, especially with the new GHS requirements. Overall, ECA is a wealth of information and knowledge and have always been very helpful when we have specific issues or questions.”Become a Member
