This workshop is designed to provide participants with an enhanced understanding of the management issues that confront those operating in an international
business environment. A major component of this workshop is managing relationships, both within and outside an organization, as well as relationships
with those from diverse cultures.
The workshop examines how cultural factors influence the establishment of international relationships and, consequently, the success of international business development.
The workshop covers:
• Impact of culture on conduct of international business
• Human resource management
• Organisational structure and management practice
All ECA workshops and courses can be undertaken as stand-alone units, or accredited as part of an Advanced Diploma in International Business with the Charles Sturt University Centre for Customs and Excise Studies. Different prices apply and you need to declare your intention to register for the accredited course when booking an individual ECA workshop or course. “90% of our business is export based and we are expanding rapidly throughout Asia. As we move into new countries and regions it is important to understand the country, culture and business norms and ECA has helped us do this through their programs. ECA has also helped us improve our shipping and documentation efficiency, especially with the new GHS requirements. Overall, ECA is a wealth of information and knowledge and have always been very helpful when we have specific issues or questions.”Become a Member
